Réserve faunique de Port-Cartier - Sept-Îles

Open from the end of May to the beginning of September

Come Out and Play

This nature land of nearly 6,500 km2 conceals more than 1,000 lakes and about fifteen rivers. It is the ideal place to observe the land and bird wildlife as well as the exceptional flora of the area. Here, visitors can do a large number of outdoor activities like swimming in the lakes and rivers, canoeing, canoe-camping, hiking or kayaking. You can even rent canoes and kayaks in the main building.

The hiking paths will take you to the summits of the mountain, to lac Carré or to the MacDonald waterfall. Of course, you can also fish and hunt in season. You can catch a dozen species of fish and hunt moose and small game.
