This church was built between 1908 and 1912 by more than 300 volunteers for whom it was important to have a church in their village. In 1975, the church was completely restored. It was built in a traditional cross plan of the Norman style, which makes it unique in the region. Its nave is more than eight meters high and the church is decorated with about sixty sculptures made with pocketknives.
