In this former village, you will find ruins from a few houses built in the first village that Henri Meunier established on the island. Come visit the cemeteries and the house of the keeper of the Pointe-Ouest lighthouse. In 1982, the Calou was washed out, and you can still see its wreck near the lighthouse. During your visit, you will have the chance to observe some of the four-legged inhabitants of the island, like foxes, birds and white-tailed deer. Take the time to stop for a picnic.
