A Unique Concept
You cannot visit Fermont without visiting its windbreak wall. This wall, which is a unique concept in North America, was built to protect the city against fierce winds. Since the Caniapiscau area is located in the North, it is not protected by a natural forest. Architects thus built this 1.3-kilometre long wall.
